Senior Pensions Administrator - Domestic and International Pensions

The opportunity:
Are you an experienced administrator with a passion for pensions and customer service? Zurich International Life Limited is offering an excellent opportunity to join our Pensions team. This senior administration position is ideal for an individual looking to deepen their knowledge and understanding of regulated personal, Isle of Man and Channel Island pensions while providing exceptional service to our members and providers.
About the role:
As part of our dedicated team, you will provide administration services throughout the entire customer journey. This role will allow you to enhance your customer care skills through multi-tasking and critical thinking, ensuring both your work and that of the team are actively managed. You will thrive in both team settings and working independently, with a strong desire to understand the intricacies of our administrative processes.
You will be working to strict regulatory deadlines and must be able to communicate these effectively to our members, partners, and their advisors. Although training will be provided, you should be capable of managing your own development and daily work and be flexible enough to adapt to changing priorities quickly.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer Isle of Man and Channel Island pension plans throughout their lifecycle.
- Review and process new member enrolments, pension applications, Additional Voluntary Contributions, and transfer requests.
- Manage onboarding of new pension plans.
- Work closely with employers to ensure monthly contributions are received on time, preventing regulatory breaches.
- Process and allocate cash received for regulated Isle of Man and Channel Islands pension plans.
- Review and authorise withdrawal and benefit requests in line with pension regulations.
- Deliver high-quality member and plan servicing, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Provide ZIO training to employers and partners, along with regular service updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to support successful plan administration.
- Stay informed about the latest procedures, methods, and regulatory requirements to support team effectiveness.
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance the customer experience.
Your skills and experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for customer service.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
- Strong time management, organisational, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise workloads for yourself and others.
- Effective communicator capable of influencing different audiences to achieve clear outcomes.
- High attention to detail, striving for quality and holding yourself and others accountable.
- Initiative to collaborate effectively across the organisation and externally to meet regulatory deadlines and achieve high-quality standards.
- Thirst for knowledge, driving your own learning and development by seeking to understand the 'who, what, why, when, and how' of administrative processes.
- Active listening skills to correctly interpret messages and show attention.
- Empathy and the ability to show care and concern for others.
